Dead Evil Kimono is the photographic work of David Moon Ki Lee. By day, David is the Chief Creative Officer of Squarespace, leading their award-winning creative team which has been honored as Ad Age A-List In-House Agency of the Year. He also serves as Co-Chair on the Board of Trustees at the Rhode Island School Design. David is a seasoned C-Suite Executive leading a team of thinkers and makers who thread all Creative, Design and Production for Squarespace.

He has been selected to the Adweek Creative 100 list as a Branded Content Innovator raising the bar for storytelling and artistic integrity. He has been named as one of the Most Creative People in Business by Fast Company and has been nominated as one of the Best Designers in Technology by Business Insider. Since joining Squarespace in 2013, David has masterminded a total of 8 Super Bowl campaigns and won an Emmy Award for the most Outstanding Commercial of the year. He has also led the successful product launches of Squarespace Logo and Squarespace 7. David was also the founder that created a dynamic presentation platform that won best educational product of the year by SXSW Interactive.

Prior to Squarespace, David served as the Worldwide Digital Executive Creative Director of TBWA. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy London and AKQA San Francisco, and started his career as a Designer and Art Director at Sid Lee in Montréal.

In addition to being on the Board of Trustees at RISD, he also serves as an Executive Member of the IADAS and advises on the board of D&AD in addition to other start ups. David has won and served as a judge for almost every industry award show, including the Cannes Lions, D&AD, ADC, One Show, Clios, Andy Awards, AICP, The Webby Awards, Creativity, Tribeca Film Festival, SXSW and Fast Company.

He graduated from RISD with a BFA in Graphic Design. A native of Montréal, he now splits his time between NYC and LA with his Family in addition to his Boston Terrier Bruce Lee.
